Project Overview

A balance of form, function and material.

Glade House is a contemporary home shaped by the contrast between the two sides of the site. Facing the street, the façade retains only the necessary openings, protecting the interior and giving the house greater privacy. Towards the garden, the living spaces open through expansive glazing and benefit from natural light.

Light takes the leading role in the living room and home office. Openings towards the green area visually extend the interior and maintain a direct connection with the garden, while the other rooms use openings sized according to the privacy they require.

The entrance area is complemented by a two-car carport integrated into the architecture of the house.

Light-coloured render, timber, stone and black window frames define the exterior. The warm tones of the timber continue inside, paired with pale finishes that reinforce the bright atmosphere of the spaces.

The flat roof preserves the house’s simple form and provides a suitable surface for solar panels. The garden remains open, with generous lawn and space for planting close to the façade.
